Nu cred ca este o optiune folosita de multi , dar ea exista si exista si persoane (putine, dar sunt) care doresc sa-si stearga contul de Yahoo! si implicit ID-ul de Yahoo! Messenger.
Inainte ca cineva sa stearga contul de Yahoo!, trebuie sa stie ca odata cu acesta se sterge tot ce tine de acel ID.  360 blog, Address Book, Yahoo! Mail, Yahoo! Messenger ID, GeoCities website, My Yahoo, Yahoo! Bookmarks si restul serviciilor oferite de Yahoo! , pentru acel ID vor fi sterse ireversibil , astfel ca mail-urile, adresele de e-mail, arhivele de messenger nu vor mai putea fi recuperate dupa stergerea id-ului . In cazul in care folositi un serviciu platit si aveti bani transferati in contul de Yahoo!, odata cu stergerea contului personal,  suma de bani este pierduta .

Cum pot sa sterg contul de Yahoo! (ID-ul de Y!Messenger) ?

Simplu . Mergeti la adresa : https://edit.yahoo.com/config/delete_user si completati datele de autentificare pentru a urma procedura de stergere a ID-ului / contului .
